Sri Shibendu Lahiri

Sri Shibendu Lahiri will be leading this wonderful five-day retreat. Here you take initiation into the ancient Vedantic wisdom of Kriya Yoga. Come and listen to the mystic fountain of the ancient sages of humanity. It flows through the body of Shibenduji as it has in each generation of his family since his great grandfather, Lahiri Mahashaya met Babaji and was enlightened. Shibenduji is a fire illuminating the path to enlightenment, burning out the impediments that prevent us from realising this state for ourselves. The retreat will take place at Earth Spirit (www.earthspirit-centre.co.uk), just five miles from Glastonbury in Somerset, on the edge of Compton Dundon village. Situated within the 'temenos' (sacred enclosure) of Avalon and surrounded by beautiful countryside, including two nature reserves, the seventeenth century farm buildings have been restored and specially converted for use as a retreat venue. They are set within seven acres of fields and gardens.
